A Saskatoon man has been named an officer of the order of Canada.
Doctor James Dosman is already a member of the Order of Canada - this latest honour means he moves up in the ranking. He's also received the Saskatchewan Order of Merit.
Dr. Dosman is recognized across the country for his work promoting health and safety in the field of agriculture.
The date for the ceremony in Ottawa for Dr. Dosman and the other recipients will be announced at a later time.
