A 45-year-old man is facing a drug charge after Prince Albert police seized over 60 grams of meth early Friday morning.

Officers seized the methamphetamine — which is valued at $12,000, according to police — after stopping a vehicle, driven by a lone man, around 12:20 a.m.

The 45-year-old man from Buffalo Narrows, Sask. was charged with possessing methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

He appeared before a justice of the peace Friday morning. His first court appearance is set for March 15 in Prince Albert.
