Five people are facing charges after an investigation into the trafficking of methamphetamine and stolen property in Saskatoon.

A 31-year-old man was arrested in a parking lot in the 2600 block of 8th St. E. for possession of stolen property on Friday. As a result, police executed a search warrant around 3:00 a.m. the next morning in the 800 block of Sutter Crescent. A 20 and 30-year-old woman were taken into custody.

The 20-year-old woman and 31-year-old man are both facing 20 firearms related charges. The man is also facing a number of drug related charges, and a number of counts of possession of stolen property.

The 30-year-old woman is facing drug related charges.

A 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman have also been charged with possession of stolen property after police say they were seen getting out of a stolen vehicle.

Five guns, four stolen vehicles, four stolen license plates, and a small quantity of drugs was seized as part of the investigation.
