Saskatoon police are investigating after a home invasion left one man injured Friday night.

Around 8:30 p.m., police were called to a basement suite in the 100 block of 32 Street W.

The resident, a 19-year-old man, reported two masked men had walked into the unlocked suite and demanded cash.

According to police, the suspects then assaulted the resident and searched the home before fleeing.

The victim suffered a minor foot injury and was treated on the scene by ambulance.

Police describe the two men as wearing all black clothes with masks covering their faces.
