MACKLIN, Sask. - Police say a thief has made off with $12,000 worth of cigarettes from a convenience store in west-central Saskatchewan.

RCMP in Macklin say the suspect in the nicotine hit earlier this week left with more than 1,000 packs of smokes.

Mounties say he got into the store by breaking a glass door with a crowbar.

They're asking for the public's help to find the man who may be responsible.

They've released a surveillance photo that shows one man inside the store.
