Thanks to a late push, the Salvation Army met it’s Christmas kettle campaign.
The kettles throughout Saskatoon raised just over $275,000.
The money raised helped the charity provide poverty stricken and low income families receive Christmas meals and new toys for children. This year more than 3,700 people in the city received assistance.
