Police are investigating after a bomb threat at the Midtown Plaza on Wednesday evening.
Officers were called to the mall around 6:30 Wednesday evening after security guards reported that an individual had claimed that the mall was going to be “blown up” within a few minutes.
Stores in the mall were notified; security and police, including members of the Explosive Device Unit performed a search, and determined that the threat was not credible.
Police were able to clear the scene by 7:30.
