Charges are pending against a woman after a single vehicle crash on Idylwyld Drive on Thursday morning.
Police and fire responded to the crash site just after 2:00 a.m. When they arrived, they found that the car had crashed into a concrete barricade.
The impact was so strong that the car was separated from its engine.
The driver, and sole occupant of the car, a 20-year-old Saskatoon woman, was mobile after the crash. She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are calling the incident an impaired driving investigation.
