A Saskatoon Christmas tradition is underway at the Western Development Museum.

The annual Festival of Trees provides an opportunity to get into the holiday spirit by taking a stroll among the 75 decorated Christmas trees and displays set up along Boomtown’s Main Street.

Community and school groups are also showing off recyclable trees and wreaths this week and the popular gingerbread lane is back for another year.

Organizers say there is something for all ages at the event, which benefits the Saskatchewan MS Clinical Research Chair campaign through the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.

The Festival of Trees runs until Saturday and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
