One person is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a stabbing early Friday morning.

Police were called to Main Street and Dufferin Avenue around 12:15 a.m. for a report of an injured man.

When they arrived, they found a 21-year-old man with a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was taken to the Royal University Hospital.

Police are searching for two men believed to be involved in the stabbing. They are both described as Indigenous, 6’0 tall, wearing jeans and black hats. One was wearing a black t-shirt and the other a white t-shirt.

The victim did not know the suspects.
