It was a double-medal day for Saskatchewan on Wednesday at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
Brianne Theisen-Eaton of Humboldt won gold in heptathlon while Jill Gallays of Saskatoon won bronze in women's wrestling.
Theisen-Eaton, 25, won the heptathlon with a score of 6,597. Teammate Jessica Zelinka, 32, from London, Ont., won the silver with a score of 6,270. She won a silver in the event at the 2013 world championships in Moscow.
In wrestling, Gallays finished third by defeating Cameroon's Lemofack Letchidjio in the women's 53-kilo freestyle class.
