Stanley Mission sent a message of hope to La Loche on Monday night.
Residents of the community stood in the shape of a heart and spelled out 'La Loche' in candles in the snow. The photos were captured by Prestin Mercredi-Fleming and posted to Facebook.
The tight knit community of La Loche was rocked last Friday after a shooter opened fire at the school, killing two people and injuring seven others. Two people were also shot and killed at another location.
The 17-year-old suspect in the case appeared in court on Monday. He will make his next court appearance on Feb. 22.
