The stage is set, the lights are on and the 41st Telemiracle is ready to get under way Saturday night at TCU Place in Saskatoon and can be seen on CTV.

Performers hit the stage on Saturday morning for a final sound check, with top singers and bands from across the country ready to rock.

Last year’s telethon raised more than $5 million, all in support of the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation.

Beverly Mahood is celebrating 20 years on the Telemiracle stage.

“You can’t really describe it to someone until they have been a part of it and seen what it is,” she said. “To me, it’s Saskatchewan’s telethon. It’s where they get to raise money and awareness for the people in Saskatchewan that need help.”

The 20-hour telethon begins at 9:00 p.m. Saturday on CTV and runs until 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
