An engineering report on the 11th Street slope failure will go to City Council on Monday.
Part of the riverbank gave way earlier this summer, affecting some backyards and disrupting utility service to more than 250 people in the Nutana area.
After monitoring and analyzing the slope failure, engineers say it was most likely a result of the natural geology of the soil, wet weather, and the landscaping work done in two backyards.
Some homes along 11th Street still have temporary gas service, but crews continue work to re-install permanent lines.
