Saskatoon’s skyline may soon be changing.

Blueprints for a new tower to be built in the city’s downtown were revealed Wednesday.

World Trade Center Saskatoon will feature nine floors of working space, a penthouse lecture theatre and an event space.

The tower, which is expected to cost $50 million and be funded through private money, will stand along 22nd Street East, between Third and Fourth avenues.

Construction is expected to begin this fall and be completed by 2019.
