Saskatoon’s new Traffic Bridge likely won’t replicate the current century-old structure.
City council removed certain design conditions Monday.
Administration proposed the change following concerns that the project could end up costing more if designers weren’t allowed flexibility. City officials feared design proposals could come in over budget if designs were limited.
The new requirements still include architectural and heritage components.
