The Saskatoon Public School Board has finally drawn up their plan to deal with the new Ministry of Education requirements.

Starting this fall, students will be in class an extra 15 minutes a day, and as a result teaching days will go from 197 to 195. With the new calendar, students will also keep their two week Christmas break and a five day February break. Students will also keep a 10 day Spring break over Easter.

The new plan has no March break, despite interest from teachers and parents in a recent survey.

The new calendar needs to be approved by the Ministry of Education.
