The Saskatchewan RCMP said Highway 40 was closed Monday afternoon following a rollover just west of Hafford, a village just under 100 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.

In a news release just before 1 p.m., the RCMP said officers from the Blaine Lake detachment were currently at the scene, that the road was closed and drivers should expect delays in the area.

“Please drive with caution and slow down when passing emergency personnel on scene,” the Sask. RCMP said in a news release.

Police haven’t said if anyone was killed or seriously injured in the crash, but updates are expected as the incident unfolds.
