Officers were called to the 1300 block of Avenue B North at around 2 p.m. where residents reported hearing the gun shots, Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said in a release.

Witnesses described to the officers that they had seen a suspicious man on foot and a suspicious vehicle.

Police say they located the vehicle, a stolen Dodge minivan, outside an apartment building in the 1100 block of Avenue W North before arresting the man and woman inside the building.
