A man charged after a boy brought a gun to a Saskatoon school last month has pleaded not guilty to a number of related firearm charges.
Police were called to St. Peter Elementary School after a .45 calibre handgun went off near a locker at the back of a classroom.
No one was hurt, but the room was full of students when the shot was fired.
The 43-year-old man faces three counts of careless use of a firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm without a license, and one count of possession of a prohibited device.
A trial date has been set for July 30.
