Kinsmen Play Village will be closed from Wednesday until Sept. 1 while the rubberized play surface is replaced.
The playground is located off 25th Street East near PotashCorp Playland at Kinsmen Park. PotashCorp Playland will remain open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The new surface will create a safer contour and improve the quality of the playground, according to the city.
