Two prisoners briefly escaped from the Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre this afternoon.
At around 2:00 p.m. two men scaled a fence at the north side of the facility and fled on foot. After a short foot chase, both men were arrested behind a north industrial business.
One of the escapees was taken to hospital with injuries he received from scaling the fence.
Both men, aged 20 and 23, will be in court tomorrow to face charges of escape with lawful custody.
