A 49-year-old male inmate has died in the Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre.
Police were called to the centre around 6:00 p.m. Saturday after receiving a report of an unresponsive inmate, police said in a news release. Ambulance crews were unable to revive the man.
The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Unit is currently investigating the death and will release more information when it becomes available.
