A head-on crash just east of Lloydminster sent both drivers to hospital Friday morning.
RCMP and police from the Wilton rural municipality were called to the collision, near Highway 303 and Range Road 3272, at about 7 a.m. Two pickup trucks crashed head-on, Mounties said in a media release.
One man, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, needed to be extricated from his truck.
Both drivers were the lone occupants of their vehicles and both were taken to hospital in stable condition, RCMP said.
Road conditions were diminishing at the time of the crash, according to police. No charges have been laid, but RCMP are still investigating.
Traffic on Highway 303 was briefly restricted because of the crash.
