Former Saskatchewan MP Jim Pankiw is back in court.
He appeared at a provincial court in Saskatoon Tuesday. He was charged with impaired driving in July 2011, and today his lawyer is questioning the reliability of the breathalyzer machine used on the MP at the time of the incident. Pankiw’s lawyer said maintenance records for the machine have not been disclosed.
Pankiw is a former MP for the Saskatoon-Humbolt constituency. He also ran for mayor of Saskatoon in 2003.
The trial is expected to wrap up Tuesday.
