Police in Saskatchewan and Alberta say the joint investigation into the White Boy Posse is far from over.

Three people associated with that gang are charged in the murder of Saskatoon mother Lorry Santos, who was gunned down in her home in September.

Police told a news conference on Tuesday that gang members hit the wrong house – and Santos was an innocent victim.

They say it appears the white boy posse was trying to break into the drug trade in Saskatoon.

“What we have been seeing is a migration of groups from outside the province into Saskatoon,” said Det. Sgt. Tyson Lavallee of the Saskatoon Police Service. “That obviously causes concern for us.”

Investigators say they will continue to watch the crime group, and more arrests are possible.

Police have charged Kyle Darren Halbauer and Randy James O’Hagan, both 22, with first degree murder in the death of Santos. Both are from Lloydminster. 29-year old Joshua Petrin of Edmonton is also charged in Santos death.

Halbauer and O’Hagan are also charged in the murder of Bryan Gower in Kitscoty in Alberta. O’Hagan and a fourth man, Nikolas Nowytzsyj is also charged in the murder and beheading of Robert Roth, who was murdered in Ranfurly, Alberta.
