A 44-year-old woman and 15-year-old girl are facing numerous weapons and drugs charges after Saskatoon police seized guns, cash and meth from a Confederation Drive home Monday.

Police searched the home as part of a firearms investigation and found four guns, ammunition, $14,000 in cash, nearly 17 grams of methamphetamine and 7.7 grams of marijuana.

Charges against the pair include careless storage of a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, tampering with a serial number, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of marijuana and possession of the proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000.

The girl is also charged with assaulting a police officer.

Police say more than 30 charges were laid after the search, including two against a 17-year-old boy. He was charged with possessing ammunition while prohibited and breaching probation.
