Cover your plants, Environment Canada warns.

The weather agency has issued frost advisories for regions along Saskatchewan’s western border.

“A ridge of high pressure will bring clearing skies and diminishing winds to western Saskatchewan tonight,” the advisory reads. The cool air mass is likely to lead to frost.

“Some plants may be damaged or even destroyed by frost.”

The Shaunavon, Leader, Kindersley, Battlefords and Meadow Lake areas are all under the advisory. Temperatures in these regions could reach as low as -1 C overnight, according to Environment Canada’s forecast.
