One person arrested following string of break-ins, police seek 3 more suspects

Windsor police say they’ve arrested one man following a series of break-ins, but they are still searching for three other suspects.

Four break-ins occurred on Jan. 12 across Windsor, including locations in the 2600 block of Temple Drive, 3400 block of Etienne Boulevard, 3000 block of Walker Road and 800 block of Foster Avenue.

Police say in each incident, suspects used a vehicle to ram into the businesses but made no attempts to enter the premises or steal items.

Later, a fifth break-in attempt using the same vehicle was seen in the 4100 block of Walker Road. Four suspects allegedly used a crowbar to gain entry and steal various cannabis products.

Another business in the 300 block of Cabana Road was then targeted.

Windsor police were able to identify and arrest a 54 year old in connection to these incidents.

They have been charged with the following:

• Break-and-enter to a place other than a dwelling (x 2)
• Wearing a disguise to commit an offence (x 2)
• Mischief over $5,000
• Mischief under $5,000 (x 3)
• Possession of break-in tools (x 2)
• Possession of property obtained by crime
• Breach of probation
