A 34 year old mother of four who was gunned down in Saskatoon this fall was the victim of gang members hitting the wrong house, according to Saskatoon Police. Lorry Ann Santos was shot in her home in the morning of September 12th.

Saskatoon Police Chief Clive Weighill told a news conference the men who shot her are members of an Alberta gang called the “White Boy Posse.” He said they were trying to infiltrate the drug trade in Saskatoon, and went to the wrong house when Santos was shot.

22-year old Kyle Darren Halbauer of Lloydminster faces a first degree murder charge in the death of Santos. He appeared in provincial court in Saskatoon on Monday.

At a news conference Tuesday, Saskatoon police announced two other people are also charged with first degree murder in the death of Santos. Police have charged Randy James O’Hagan, 22, of Lloydminster, and 29 year old Joshua Petrin of Edmonton.

The men are also charged in two murders in Alberta this fall.

Halbauer and O’Hagan are charged with first degree murder in the shooting of 35-year old Bryan Gower, whose body was found on a country road near Kitscoty in September.

Both also face charges in the gruesome murder of 54 year old Robert John Roth. His beheaded body was found near Ranfurly, and his head was later found in Edmonton.

Police held news conferences in Saskatoon and Edmonton to outline the arrests.

“These suspects are behind bars due to the collective efforts of all of the police agencies involved,” said RCMP Inspector Jerry Scott in Edmonton. “Violence like this will not be tolerated.”

A fourth man from Wainright, Nikolas Jon Nowytzkyj also faces charges in the murder of Roth.
