Saskatoon police have laid a total of 10 gun-related charges against a 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl in connection with a call to the Kelsey Woodlawn neighbourhood Friday.

Officers responded to a complaint of suspicious activity at a home on the 1300 block of First Avenue North just after 5 a.m.

Police have so far released few details, but say several people were taken into custody and that a sawed-off rifle and ammunition were found in the home.

Two of the people have since been charged. The rest have been released.

The two facing charges are expected to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Monday.
