Ryan White

Ryan joined CTVNews.ca in October 2024. He is a generalist with years of experience covering municipal, provincial and federal elections, politics, high-profile criminal court cases and natural disasters, including the 2013 flooding in southern Alberta and wildfires throughout Western Canada. Prior to his return to CTV News, the Calgary-based journalist served as Global News’s regional managing editor of digital news for the Prairies, overseeing the organization’s digital output across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He previously worked as a digital journalist and online supervisor with CTV News Calgary. Ryan is an active member of Calgary’s minor basketball community. He speaks English.
