Bedford Road Collegiate is ready to hear your ideas for a new team name and logo.
After years of controversy the Saskatoon public school division decided earlier this year to change Bedford Road's original team name 'Redmen' to something else.
The school is seeking a name and a logo that reflects the way the school is viewed by staff and students, who use words such as respect, family, pride, and tradition to describe Bedford Road.
The school board is now looking to the public for submissions of a new name and a logo design that represents those key values. The deadline for submissions is May 12.
The Redmen name and logo will be retired at the end of June,.
The hope is to unveil the new name by the end of this school year so changes can be made during the summer and the new logo launched this fall.
