Saskatoon police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect after a possible armed robbery early Saturday morning.

Officers were called to a business in the 600 block of 8th Street East at 12:30 a.m. According to police, a man entered the store with what was described as a black gun in his hand. The man demanded cash and left on foot with an unknown amount of money. Police say he was last seen heading east.

Patrol units, K9 and Air Support responded to the call, but no arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate. No one was injured as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged, Caucasian man. He was wearing a long, blue, trench coat-style winter coat, blue jeans and had a gray bandana covering his face.
