PRINCE ALBERT -- NDP Leader Ryan Meili campaigned in Prince Albert with a message that the city has been let down by the Saskatchewan Party.

Meili made the trip several days after Saskatchewan Party Leader Scott Moe, who talked about many ways his party has supported the city over its 13 years in government.

Voters head to the polls Monday.

Meili says he would build Prince Albert a new bridge and a new hospital if his party is elected to form government.

He also attacked the Saskatchewan Party's candidate for Prince Albert Carlton, former cabinet minster Joe Hargrave.

Hargrave was the minister responsible for Crown investments when the Saskatchewan Party government shut down the Saskatchewan Transportation Company bus service in 2017.

Meili brought a former STC bus with him to Tuesday's campaign stop, saying the private sector has been unable to fill the void created by the elimination of the province-wide bus system.

He promised Monday that his party would also create a new provincial bus service.
