Early-morning rain is welcome news after rural fire fighters battled another grass fire Tuesday afternoon.
Martensville fire crews responded to the call just before 1 p.m. in the area of Highway 12 and Lutheran Road.
Crews were able to get the fire under control quickly, and the flames were controlled to one area of grass.
The cause is under investigation. No one was injured.
