A 32-year-old Prince Albert male is facing charges after resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer Saturday morning.
Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of 2nd Avenue West for a complaint of an intoxicated person. Upon arrival, police say, when the officer went to check on the male, he assaulted the officer.
With the help of a member of the public, the officer was able to gain control of the man.
Police say there were no injuries during the altercation.
