A preliminary hearing is underway in Provincial Court in Saskatoon for a man and his daughter accused of defrauding Saskatchewan investors of millions of dollars.
Ron Fast and Danielle Fast Carlson face a number of fraud charges through their company Marathon Leasing Corporation. The company used investors' money to deal with leased vehicles.
Marathon went bankrupt several years ago.
RCMP say more than 100 investors lost millions of dollars.
Details from the preliminary hearing can't be reported. A judge is hearing the evidence, and will decide if the case will go to trial.
