Police confirm body found in dumpster victim of homicide
Police have confirmed that the body found burned in a dumpster in Saskatoon was the victim of a homicide.
Mervin Clarence McAdam, 22, was found dead in a garbage bin in the alley behind the 200 block of Avenue S South early Monday morning.
Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services made the grisly discovery after putting out a blaze inside the bin.
Officials say two people who were taken in for questioning have been released, but remain persons of interest in the case.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday to determine the cause of death.
