Saskatoon’s Chinese community unveiled a traditional pagoda in Victoria Park on Saturday.
The Zhongshan Ting came from China as a gift to the city from the Saskatoon Zhongshan Ting Society, which spent five years working on the project.
The pagoda is valued at around $150,000 and brings a piece of Chinese heritage to Saskatoon.
The Meewasin Valley Authority accepted the application to construct the pagoda in the park last year.
