One person is dead after a major house fire in Saskatoon's Mount Royal neighbourhood.
Paramedics and the fire department were called to 313 Witney Avenue around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
According to the Saskatoon Fire Department, a body was found in the kitchen.
Police have not yet confirmed the gender or identity of the body.
A neighbour told CTV Saskatoon that two women lived in the home.
Most of the damage caused by the fire was seen inside the home — specifically in the kitchen and dining room.
Damage is estimated at $150,000.
Investigators are still working to find the cause of the fire.
