The Saskatoon Fire Department says no one was injured in a garage fire early Saturday morning.
Crews were called to a blaze behind 2 Brandon Place just before 4:00 a.m. Fire officials say a single detached garage in the alley had flames on the side and through the roof of the building. Fire crews were able to get the fire under control, and the vehicle inside the garage was removed without any damage.
There was no one inside the garage at the time of the fire. Investigators say the fire started in a plastic garbage can beside the garage. Damage is estimated at $10,000 to $15,000.
