One of two people charged in the murder of a Saskatoon man last year has pleaded guilty.

Nicole Paddy, 28, pleaded guilty Monday to being an accessory after the fact to aggravated assault. She was charged alongside Michael Robertson after 42-year-old Rocky Genereaux’s death last March.

Genereaux was found suffering from serious injuries at a home on the 400 block Avenue I South, and died later in hospital.

Paddy was initially charged with being an accessory after the fact to second-degree murder, but the Crown amended the charge.

She was sentenced Monday to time served, which means the 15 months she spent in custody was credited. She was handed nine months of probation.

Robertson is still waiting to stand trial. He is charged with second-degree murder in the death.

His trial is set for this summer.
