Multi-Skilled Journalist CTV News Saskatoon

Saskatoon

Pat McKay left CTV Saskatoon in July 2023

After tackling the sports beat for the last nine years, Pat McKay is proud to be part of the news team at CTV Saskatoon.

Pat has worked in several different markets across the Prairies, starting his career with overnight radio shifts in Calgary, moving into television in Lloydminster, and cutting his teeth with CTV in Yorkton and Regina.

He then spent eight years covering sports at CTV Saskatoon, before moving to CTV in Winnipeg in the sports director role. Pat is proud to be back covering your local news and telling stories in the Bridge City.

Graduating from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with no honours whatsoever, the Edmonton product makes his home in Saskatoon with his lovely wife Bobby-Jo, darling daughter Harper, and dog Murphy Brown.

Pat loves being active and giving back, running in marathons and triathlons in and around Saskatoon, and was on the committee for the Movember Charity Street Hockey tournament in support of Men’s Health. Give him a tweet — @PatMcKayCTV — for a story idea, or if you’d like him to emcee your next event!
