A woman has died after the scooter she was riding collided with a gravel truck, according to Saskatoon police.
The crash occurred Friday afternoon, shortly after 2 p.m., at 20th Street West and Avenue F South.
A witness said the truck was turning right off Avenue F and onto 20th Street when it struck the scooter and dragged it about half a block.
The person on the scooter, a 55-year-old woman, was taken to hospital but died of her injuries.
Her identity has not yet been released.
The area was still taped off and officers were still investigating as of early Friday evening.
