Two lovers found guilty of conspiring to kill their spouses have been released from jail pending their appeals.

Angela Nicholson and Curtis Vey have been granted bail following requests submitted two weeks ago that the pair be released as their appeals are processed. Both Vey and Nicholson face several conditions and must check in at court as required.

A Prince Albert jury found the pair guilty in June of conspiring to murder their spouses, and earlier this month the two were sentenced to three years in prison.

They both filed documents appealing the convictions weeks ago.

Dates for their appeals have not been set.
