RCMP are treating a sudden death in the town of Raymore, Sask. as suspicious.
Police were called to a residence on the 1000 block of 4th Avenue in Raymore around 9:35 p.m. Monday following a report of an unresponsive person.
An adult female inside the home was pronounced dead on scene.
Police were still at the residence and the woman had yet to be identified as of late Tuesday morning.
An autopsy will be conducted sometime in the next few days.
A spokesperson for the RCMP would not say why police consider the death suspicious.
Punnichy RCMP, Yorkton police dog services, Regina and Yorkton forensic teams, and an RCMP major crimes unit are investigating the death.
