Police seek tips after armed suspect assaulted Sask. woman, stole her truck
Prince Albert police are asking the public for help locating two suspects after a woman was assaulted and her truck was stolen on Christmas Eve.
At around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, police were called to the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue West for a report of a woman being assaulted by a man with a gun who also stole her truck, the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) said in a news release.
Officers found the 31-year-old victim suffering from injuries consistent with an assault. She was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital for further care.
Police say the victim was in a vehicle with another woman when an unknown man assaulted her and she fled the vehicle.

According to police, the victim and the other woman in the vehicle were known to each other.
Shortly after, police located the stolen truck unoccupied in the 3200 block of 2nd Avenue West.
Upon further investigation, officers learned a man and a woman left the truck and headed westbound on foot.
Police say the suspect woman was wearing a burgundy jacket, blue toque, and may have blonde hair. The man wore a black hat, black and white Adidas long sleeve shirt, and brown pants.
Police say they continue to investigate the incident and anyone with information should call police or Crime Stoppers. If the situation is an emergency, call 911.
