An overloaded electrical cord, attached to a space heater, is to blame for a garage fire in the Confederation Park neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
Saskatoon fire was called to the blaze around noon. When they arrived, they found a large detached double garage with heavy smoke coming out of a window.
The homeowner told fire crews that no one was inside the garage.
The overhead doors were opened and firefighters had the fire under control within 11 minutes.
No one was hurt, but damage is estimated at $15,000.
