Saskatoon police are asking people to be on the lookout for a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
Muhidiin Ahmed Farah is wanted by Montreal police, but regularly travels to Saskatoon.
Farah, 31, is a suspect in an armed robbery and is considered armed and dangerous, according to Saskatoon police. Anyone who sees him is asked not to approach him and to call 911 immediately.
Police say Farah and another man brutally attacked a man using a firearm as he was walking down a hallway in a Montreal motel early in the morning of May 10, 2017. They allegedly assaulted him a second time after he tried to get away.
The second suspect in the assault was arrest on June 2 and appeared at the Court of Quebec on charges of armed robbery and gun charges.
Farah is currently at large after breaking the conditions of his parole. He is known to travel to Saskatoon by train.
He is described as dark skinned with brown eyes and black hair. He is six-feet tall and weighs 187 pounds. He is also known to have gang ties.
